Leak Detection
Help locating and addressing plumbing leaks, from visible fixture leaks to suspected hidden pipe problems.
Find out where the water is coming from
A dripping fixture is easy to notice; a leak behind a wall or under a floor may be less obvious. Cozy Solutions handles leak-detection and repair inquiries for homes and light-commercial properties.
Describe what you have seen and where it is happening. New water staining, persistent dampness or an unexplained change in water use can warrant an assessment, but those signs alone do not identify the cause.
Visible leaks and fixture problems
Faucets, toilets, sinks and exposed pipe connections are common starting points for a leak concern. A repair assessment considers the affected fixture or pipe and the condition of nearby components.
Let us know whether the water appears continuously or only when a fixture is used. Photographs can be helpful when requested, but you do not need to open a wall or remove equipment to contact us.
Suspected hidden pipe leaks
For a suspected leak inside a wall, below a floor or under a slab, the investigation depends on the location and access. Describe any previous plumbing work and the areas where symptoms appear.
The testing method and any access needed should be discussed for the individual property. Locating a leak does not guarantee a repair can be completed without opening a surface or excavating.
From locating the problem to discussing repair
Detection and repair are related but distinct steps. Once the problem is understood, discuss the affected piping, repair options and any additional access or restoration that may be needed.
Our plumbing scope should be clarified before work begins. Building repairs, drying, mold treatment and structural restoration are separate considerations and are not assumed to be included.
Contact us about a leak
Call with your location, the affected area and whether water is currently escaping. Avoid contact with wet electrical equipment or standing water near it. We will discuss current availability and the next step.
